Introductory Events Schedule

In addition to Brochures, Articles, and our Web Site these Events are another way to get more information about the ManKind Project (MKP), the New Warrior Training Adventure (NWTA), and the concept of "Men's Groups ". These Events are open to all men interested in the possibility of furthering their personal development, health, and growth. A sense of Adventure is a plus.

These Events are conducted by local volunteers who have participated in the NWTA themselves and are members of The Mankind Project of Wisconsin. Please see the schedule below for Event Logistics and the bottom of this page for more specific descriptions of these various events.

EVENT DESCRIPTIONS:

Open Men's Circle (Open Men's Group, Open Circle):
Hosted by MKP volunteers, provided for the benefit of the general community at large and publicized as such. Focused on introducing men to very basic concepts of sitting in a circle and talking in meaningful ways with one another about meaningful topics. This event is not designed or intended to provide detailed information about MKP or the NWTA.

MKP/NWTA Information Circle (Info Circle):
A facilitated circle hosted by local MKP volunteers, open to all men, and publicized as such. The primary intent is to introduce men to MKP and the NWTA by first providing them information, and second by giving them a 'taste' of what it is like to sit in a MKP Men's Group Format.

'A Circle of Men': - A 'Free' one day workshop designed and conducted by MKP volunteers to provide men with an opportunity to experience a 'taste' of MKP's New Warrior Training Adventure weekend and be introduced to the ManKind Project.

Open I-Group: The 'I' stands for Integration. Often men who have completed a New Warrior Training Adventure weekend decide to continue working together to 'Integrate' what they have learned and experienced on the weekend. An I-Group will occasionally invite visitors to participate in their meetings to provide a 'taste' of what it is like to be in a 'Mens Group' and
also get their questions answered about the NWTA and the ManKind Project.
